This work concerns the problem of gust load alleviation a flexible aircraft by focusing on Airbus’s XRF1 concept, with fully actuated wing. The is equipped lidar sensor, which measures wind velocity ahead it, together standard sensors. Based available measurements, controllers are then designed and syntheses, emphasis put multiple-input multiple-output robustness in order to reduce selected set loads due wind, hence potentially saving mass design. A state-space model obtained means an aeroelastic computation system identification from frequency data. controllers’ performance evaluated through their capability shear force, bending, torsion moments different locations response types discrete gusts continuous turbulence; constraints sensors actuators taken into account. gain use assessed, tradeoff discussed concerning optimal measurement distance. Finally, closed-loop assessed simulations where uncertainties applied system.
